Previously the Chairman, Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of Ranbaxy Laboratories Limited ("RLL"), Malvinder spearheaded the sale of approximately 64% of the equity share capital of RLL to Diachi Sankyo Company Limited in 2008.

As an entrepreneur, Malvinder has diversified business interests in financial services, insurance, healthcare and information technology. He is a director of several listed companies in India, namely, Dion Global Solutions Limited and Oscar Investments Limited.

A member of the Young Global Leaders (YGL) forum, an initiative of the World Economic Forum (WEF), Malvinder is also a member of the board of visitors at the Fuqua School of Business, Duke University, North Carolina. He also serves on the board of the Institut Européen d'Administration des Affaires (INSEAD), Global India Council and is a member of the Board of Governors, Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Gandhinagar.

Mr. Shachindra Nath (Group Chief Executive Officer) Religare Enterprises Ltd., carries the overall responsibility for leading all pivotal operations and businesses of the group. He has been associated with Religare since the year 2000 and has been instrumental in building various businesses under the Religare umbrella from scratch. His strategic agility coupled with a hands on approach has been a key to Religare’s growth and success over the years. With a career span of more than 20 years, Shachindra is a highly accomplished professional backed by an exemplary academic record. He is a University rank holder for his Bachelor’s degree in Law from the Banaras Hindu University, Varanasi. He also went on to pursue a Post Graduate diploma in Intellectual Property Rights from the Amity Law College, Delhi.

Prior to joining Religare, Shachindra has worked in the manufacturing and Financial services sector in various capacities. A great motivator and leader, when not at work he loves to read, contribute to columns, travel and spend time with his family.

A member of the board and global Chief Executive Officer of Dion, Ralph has over sixteen years experience in the IT and Securities industries. Prior to the establishment of Dion, Ralph was the founder and CEO of Capital Market Solutions where he successfully expanded CMS’s footprint across Asia.

Ralph was also previously a member of the Board of Misys Securities Trading Systems and was Director of Operations in Asia Pacific. He was responsible for the companies’ operations in Australia, New Zealand, Tokyo, Hong Kong, Singapore, Malaysia, Taiwan and Korea.

Ralph's knowledge of the IT and securities industry has resulted in him being consulted on a number of industry initiatives and being invited to speak at several industry events across the region.

A member of the board of Dion, Maninder Singh Grewal has more over 30 years of experience in information technology sector. Prior to Dion, Maninder was associated with Wipro from company’s initial days as it’s principal vendor in North India and was instrumental in setting up Ludhiana Stock Exchange / Securities, migrating from manual trading to computerization. He has successfully implemented ERPs on Solaris, Linux and Windows and has helped computerize branches of State Bank of India, Punjab & Sind Bank and Bank of India among others.

He joined RTL in 2006 and has been instrumental in growth of the IT vertical comprising of erstwhile Religare Technova Ltd and its subsidiaries.

C P Gurnani is the Chief Executive Officer – Mahindra Satyam since June 2009. Prior to that, he was heading Global Operations, Sales & Marketing and Competency & Solution businesses at Tech Mahindra.

An accomplished business leader with extensive experience in international business development, start-ups & turnaround, joint ventures, mergers & acquisitions, CP in many ways led Tech Mahindra’s transformation journey, where he contributed significantly to the Company’s strategy and philosophy. His inimitable style of leadership combined with his sharp focus on customer experience helped Tech Mahindra emerge as one of the leading providers of IT Services & Telecom Solutions to the global telecom ecosystem.

In a career spanning 28 years, he has held several leading positions with HCL Hewlett Packard Limited, Perot Systems (India) Limited & HCL Corporation Ltd.

An eminent Cardiologist, Dr. Preetinder Singh Joshi has over 32 years of experience in medical profession in India and abroad. Presently working as Director of Maharaj Sawan Singh Charitable Hospital, Beas (Punjab), he holds an M.B.B.S. degree from Medical College, Amritsar and M.D. degree in Cardiology & General Medicine from Maulana Azad Medical College, Delhi. He is also a member of Royal College of Physicians, UK.

Padam Bahl has been a practicing chartered accountant and an income tax advisor since 1979, and has more than 27 years of work experience. He was the chairman of the Northern India Regional Council, Institute of Chartered Accountants of India, Amritsar Branch for the year 1998-99 and was a member of the Income Tax Advisory Committee, Amritsar Chapter during the years 2002-03 and 2003-04.

Mr.Bahl holds a bachelor’s degree in commerce from the Kurukshetra University and a bachelor’s degree in law from Guru Nanak Dev University, Amritsar. He is a fellow member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India. He has also received a diploma in information system audit from SSI, Amritsar.

Vikram Sahgal has over 27 years of experience in the engineering field, and is a member of the Managing Committee of PHDCCI and of the National Committee of Defence of the CII. Vikram holds a degree in Mechanical Engineering from Delhi College (DCE) and an MBA from the Faculty of Management Studies (FMS), University of Delhi.

A non-executive director at Dion, Pradeep Raniga has been a practicing Chartered Accountant and an Income Tax Advisor since 1981 with 29 years of work experience.”

Pradeep holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of Durban Westville University in South Africa and a Post Graduate Diploma in Accounting from University of Natal in South Africa. He qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 1981 in South Africa.

Pradeep migrated to Melbourne, Australia in 1985 and in 1988 became a Partner of HLB Mann Judd, a mid-tier Firm of Chartered Accountants. He was a member of the Executive Committee and in 2000 he completed the Diploma in Financial Planning in Australia and is a member of the Australian Institute of Chartered Accountants. Pradeep is also currently a member of the executive management team of Dion.

Mr. R.K. Shetty holds a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from Karnataka University, Dharwad and has completed an executive development program from the Jamunalal Bajaj Institute of Management in Product Management Control in Mumbai. Mr. Shetty has more than 31 years of work experience and in 1992 received the National Productivity Award. Presently he is the President of Karnataka State Hockey Association and Vice President of Karnataka Olympic Association.
